BARNSLEY'S LAST
HOORAH! Local
tourism pioneers Garry and Nerida Barnsley were
farewelled last week at one of the Barnsely's favourite
venues in the Southern Highlands, Milton
Park by a good representation of their industry
colleagues. The Barnsley's 25 years of tourism
involvement was highlighted by keynote speakers, Richard
Mulvaney former CEO of Bradman Museum of Cricket, Helene
Jessup, Brigadoon and Paul McShane,
Booktrail.
The
Barnsley's were presented with a Dee Kramer image of
their flagship tourism product, "A Little Piece of
Scotland". They will be dearly missed from the
industry in the short term as they head off to Europe in
the next couple of months to enjoy retirement (and get a
life).
