Tourism currently delivers economic, social and environmental benefits for the Southern Highlands.
Tourism is part of everybody’s business.
Tourism spending has a multiplier effect in the local community as it is spend and re-spent by employers and employees. This effect contributes to the quality and quantity of local services and facilities.

For these benefits to continue to grow Tourism Southern Highlands needs the support of all local businesses. The associated benefits and returns of tourism will only be achieved through a cohesive approach by all stakeholders. To achieve these results we need support and ask businesses to become financial partners, so that Tourism Southern Highlands has the resources to market the region to its target audiences in key markets.

Working together is the one sure way, we can all benefit! Whether you’re the butcher who supplies the restaurant or the accountant who does the motel housekeepers tax return, the flow on effect of the tourism dollar does affect businesses at all levels.

The Tourism Southern Highlands Membership Program for 2010-2011 is filled with benefits for Southern Highlands businesses, big or small.

Tourism Southern Highlands has continued to expand its range of benefits and services to our Members for 2010-2011. We have continued the accreditation program via a window decal for all approved Tourism Southern Highlands Members and in return encourage high standards of service delivery and acknowledge their participation as a valuable Tourism Southern Highlands Member.
