Tulip Time Bowral is one of Australia 's oldest and most beautiful flora festivals with over 100,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals on spectacular display in Corbett Gardens.

Maggie Tabberer is the Tulip Time Ambassador with many new and exciting events planned for 2008.

See some of Australia 's best and most beautiful private gardens opened to the public during Tulip Time. Each private garden conducts talks by the owners or head gardeners.


Events

• Tulip Time Food & Wine Festival, Sat 27 to Sun 28 September – Corbett Gardens.
• Stroll around Corbett Gardens amongst the beautiful tulip display, tasting award winning wines and food from the Southern Highlands .
• Tulip Time Street Parade Sat 27 September 2pm Bong Bong St , Bowral. One of Australia 's oldest traditional street parades that will send tingles down your spine with excitement.
• Tulip Time Specialist Garden Show held over the October long weekend.  Sat 4 October to Mon 6 October Corbett Gardens. One of the most popular events where specialist nurseries from around Australia and beautiful home wares come together in a perfect setting.
• The Black Dog Institute will be in Corbett Gardens during Tulip Time, giving out information and conduction talks about living with mental illness.  John Konrads Olympic gold medalist winner in Swimming and Noel Travaskis OAM director of the Australian Rotary Health Research Fund who was awarded his OA for his work in raising mental heath awareness will be talking about their experiences living with mental illness.  John Konrads will be speaking on Fri 26 and Sat 27 Sept at 11.30am. Noel Travaskis OAM will be speaking Sat 4 Oct at 11.30am
