Wingello

Located south of Bundanoon and Penrose on the Tourist Drive to Marulan is the Village of Wingello. The original township of Wingello on the main South Road stood some miles from the present village. Four wooden houses were erected on 1834 for the road gang constructing the new South Road.

Wingello today is a thriving community. The General Store offers light refreshments. Major events occur in the surrounding forests including the Dog sled races, Mountain Bike events and orienteering.
