The Artists of the Round Yard (ARY) are an artists collective based at Retford Park, James Fairfax’s country ‘pile’ which he left to the National Trust after his passing in 2016. Built by Samuel Horden in 1887, the Italianate mansion begs to be seen.

ARY will present Evolve! their latest exhibition which runs from 18th February through 16th May, free to view from Friday to Monday. The exhibition spans two adjacent locations: in the White Cottage Gallery as well as in the Round Yard. The latter is a space built by Horden in the late 1800’s to lunge his working horses in order to keep them fit…now a listed building, its extraordinary architecture beautifully complements the works it holds.

Come see painters, photographers, sculptors and mixed media artists….and what is more, its located 100m away from the newest Regional Gallery in NSW, Ngununggula replete with a cafe’ run by the famous Moonacres farm (and cafe’) of Robertson.
