Entering this competition was open to everyone who produces pies in the Southern Highlands and surrounds, bakers, pie makers, chefs, cooks and home bakers are eligible to enter this great competition.
There will be five main categories for pie entries:
White Meat Pie
Red Meat Pie
There will be special categories:
Best Apprentice (sweet & savoury)
Best Community / Home Cook (sweet & savoury)
Award winning pies will be on sale at the Pie Fest 23-24 June 2018.
Award winning pies can be pre ordered on-line
This competition has been extended to incorporate NSW & ACT bakers, so as to encourage greater competition and sustainability of the competition.
Nb: currently there is no State Pie Competition.
The Awards Night will be held on Friday 15 June in the Pavilion at the Bong Bong Picnic Race Course.
Judging of the competition will take place Wed 13 to Fri 15 June at Bong Bong Picnic Race Course.
