The celebration of the Sesquicentenary of the opening of the railway line from Sutton Forest (now Moss Vale) to Marulan will occur on Sunday the 5th August 2018.
The Bundanoon History Group and the Marulan and District Historical Society have planned a day of celebrations to mark the occasion including an official launch of the Bundanoon station restoration by Sydney Trains (10.30 am) and an Open Day providing first glimpse inside Bundanoon’s historic station since 2006 (to 2.30 pm)
There will be community ceremonies in Bundanoon (10.30 am) and Marulan (12.15 pm) celebrating 150 years of rail.
Event trains provided by NSW trains linking Bundanoon, Marulan and the southern villages will run on the day.
Festivities, displays, food, entertainment and activities around Bundanoon and Marulan stations (10.30 am – 2.30 pm), plus markets at Bundanoon from 8.30 am
