The second annual Burrawang Cricket Collectors Fair will be held on Sunday 22nd July at the Burrawang School of Arts, Hoddle Street, Burrawang. Doors open at 10am, Admission $5.00.
Some of Australia’s leading cricket collectors, historians, writers, and memorabilia experts will be holding talks, displays, and workshops on a wide range of cricket-related subjects.
Subjects include ceramics, cards, caps, bats, balls, postcards, photographs, badges, silverware, ephemera, and memorabilia.
The day will include a panel discussion on ‘The Spirit of Cricket’ led by Award Winning writer and journalist Gideon Haig and the ABC’s Jim Maxwell AM.
There will also be an Antiques Road Show style expert valuation and appraisal, and you are invited to bring along your treasures for evaluation.
On Saturday 21st July, there will be a vintage degustation dinner in the style held for Ashes touring Test teams. The dinner will be held at the Award-Winning Burrawang General Store.
