The St Jude’s Singers will sing the traditional service of Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer in St Jude’s Church Bowral on Sunday 17 September commencing at 3.00pm. The service setting in by the English composer T Tertius Noble (1867-1953) in celebration of the 150th anniversary of his birth. The anthem is by H Balfour Gardiner (great-uncle of the celebrated English conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner). Other music is by Thomas Ebdon (1738-1811), Thomas Attwood Walmisley (1814-1856) and John Ireland (1879-1962).
