Kristy Osseweyer has continued to further develop her style, painting impressive Abstract impasto palette- knife paintings which capture the dichotomy of beauty and destruction during a bushfire ravaging the Australian landscape.
Ericka and Kristy journeyed to Tuscany, Italy where attended a workshop, painting scenes from the local Cortona area guided by Australian tutor Janet Knight. Images from their incredible journey will form part of the body of works.
After a pilgrimage to her former hometown of Tom Price in the Pilbara of Western Australia Erika reacquainted herself with the ancient sacred deep gorges of Karijini. Ericka’s unique, colourful contrasting style is shaped by her congenital eye disability and experiences from both her past and more recent revisits, onto the raw canvas.
Peter Browne will join them exhibiting his quintessential stylised Australian Bushscapes with his infamous signature emus and caricatures of Australian wildlife.
