"You can find such inspiration, beauty and joy in nature and if you can’t, slow down, slow right down, walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet, look and look again….it will be there for you” Jackson Thomas
Profoundly aware of the interconnectedness of all forms, Susan brings to the Southern Highlands her passion and observation of our physical, ecological and cultural relationship between the powerful life forces of nature, humankind and the cosmos.
Her solo exhibition is inspired by Taoism, Buddhism, the ancient practices of Qiqong and Meditation and her recent cultural immersion travelling and studying in China. Her works, crossing a diversity of highly innovative practice, mediums and materiality, create engaging imagery which echo themes of memory, mystery, alchemy and colour consciousness.
It is with great honour and gratitude that Susan's exhibition will be opened by Qiqong Master, Simon Blow, Friday February 16 at 6.30pm.
