Join us for a step back in time and a guided walk along the Waratah Nature Study Trail at Wirrimbirra Sanctuary, Bargo and engage in different aspects of nature studies in the conservation area of Bargo Brush. This walk follows Nature Study Trail no.2 – The Waratah Trail. The 3 km walk descends from the Bargo Plateau, along the fern lined Wirrimbirra Creek, past the Big Pool, demonstrating aspects of creek formation, effect of temperature change and variation in plant adaption.
Note: Transport not included. Walk requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
Meet at 9am on Charles Point Rd, Bargo entrance of Wirrimbirra Sanctuary Conservation Area. Following this stunning walk, it’s a short drive to Wirrimbirra Sanctuary on Remembrance Drive for morning tea.
