The Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra Celebrates its
Fifth Anniversary with a
Spectacular Musical Adventure.

John Williams is widely regarded as one of the greatest American composers of all time and has composed some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in the history of cinema. His Phantom Menace which includes the notable “Duel of the Fates” and “Anakin’s Theme” will open the Series 3 concerts of the SHSO on the occasion of its fifth anniversary.
The pyrotechnics will continue with Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole featuring the amazing 15-year old Southern Highlands violinist Cedar-Rose Newman. Cedar-Rose is currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
The majesty, energy, and lyricism of Saint-Saens’ Symphony No. 3 “Organ Symphony” completes the program with an organ finale that suggests a compelling journey filled with adventure.
Come and share this journey of adventure with the SHSO.
