'Windows into Wartime' engages with historic images produced by the NSW Government Printing Office during and immediately after the First World War. As government photographers were shooting the image, they were not only documenting but shaping how NSW mobilised in support of Australia's war effort. Today, this collection of images reproduced from original glass plate negatives provides us with a unique insight into the NSW home front during the First World War.
This is a travelling exhibition of photographs from the State Archives and Records NSW produced for the Centenary of Anzac and to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the First World War.
