Low-back pain hits most of us at some point. Repetitive action, poor posture, injury or ageing, all play a role. Over-time, the soft discs between vertebrae dry, and less-supple discs can be more susceptible to bulging or rupture and put pressure on nerves, sending pain signals to your brain. While we can’t avoid getting older, pain can be alleviated. Routine stretching can both prevent and relieve symptoms.
In this workshop, learn how yoga can help relieve and manage back pain, and experience a session designed specifically to ease current discomfort. Offering you tools to assist in healing and preventive care, this practice targets lower back pain, neck and shoulder tension, while building flexibility. Take away guidelines for a simple and safe home practice, and do your back a favour.
