Yoga has a reputation for improving your overall health and well-being. But did you know yoga can combat restlessness and insomnia, be a tool to help improve your digestive function, and prepare you for a better nights rest?
By lowering stress levels, calming the mind and relieving tension in the body, yoga can be an effective natural sleep remedy. Certain resting and inversion poses can be particularly helpful, especially when practiced in the evening or right before bed. Several postures are also known to help cleanse, stimulate, aid, and encourage good digestive function.
